Natrio Asia Pacific has had an exciting few years with never before seen growth and results in the industrial products sector. With the organisation’s size growing four-fold over three years, and scaling from a small to medium organisation, I knew we needed to do more around our HR function to support our growth plans. As a result, I engaged Mark from Beacon Consult. Initially Mark led a People and Culture Healthcheck, which helped me, as MD, to understand where are biggest gaps were and where we needed to focus our immediate attention and plan for future growth.
This quickly led to the restructure of Natrio which helped us get clear around the core functions and roles and how to work more efficiently together. Like many growing organisations we have had great difficulty attracting talent so Mark led work across recruitment, onboarding, remuneration as well as procuring our first HR information system. From being the consultant who leads our strategic offsites, to being an advisor and coach to me and my leadership team, we’ve delivered results based on Mark’s consulting that we never thought possible.

Latitude Financial wanted to bring some fresh thinking to how they managed the performance of their people for future success. Mark was engaged to challenge the traditional approaches they had in place for performance management and elevate the goal to truly enhance individual and team performance, as well as driving the desired culture for future success. Mark worked closely with the C suite leading the Discovery and Design phases to transform approaches around goal setting, great conversations, people development and reward for high performance. This was a significant step for Latitude, the first time performance management was refreshed as an enabler since Jack Welch, former GE CEO and the grandfather of performance management, had defined it for this former GE company decades before.
“With our rapid growth we engaged Mark from Beacon Consult. (formerly Global Wandering) to assist Attend Anywhere set up for success across our sites in Australia, the United Kingdom and Pakistan. Attend Anywhere is a scaling, global software development company, now part of the Induction Healthcare Group UK, that operates on the leading edge of video technology and has supported the UK NHS health sector (having 90% of this market) during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mark initially undertook a People and Culture Health Check to assess our needs for immediate and future growth. Within 6 weeks he led the design, implementation and embedding of a new organisation structure to meet plans for future expansion in the UK, Europe and United States. In addition, he led the initiatives to procure Attend Anywhere’s first HR information system and a refreshed approach to recruitment and onboarding.
After his initial consulting engagement, we appointed Mark as interim Chief Operating Officer, to optimise & lead the suite of corporate services functions. These included- people and culture, service delivery, project delivery and communications. In this role he developed the first Service function for Attend Anywhere, based in the UK, to meet new contracted customer requirements during the second year of the pandemic. This function was based in the UK, with multiple support desks delivering to a multi-tiered service model.
This freed up our leadership team to focus on the sale of Attend Anywhere which was subsequently purchased by Induction Healthcare Group in the UK later in 2021.”

As Nextt was navigating the shifting landscape of the NDIS to meet their aggressive 2025 growth targets Mark was engaged to assess their current operating model and help define what the future operating model needs to be support their lofty aspirations – around profitable growth and superior service. Mark worked closely with the executive team to get a clear understanding of the current operating model, including strengths and weaknesses.
After outlining multiple operating model options from similar reference organisations, as well as other industries, a model was chosen that could deliver across the multiple state regions, as well set leaders and teams up to provide best in class service. Mark guided Nextt to a signed off operating model, and developed the change and implementation plans for the organisation to take forward as an organisation.
Beacon Consult. joined Insight Data Solutions Technology Services as a strategic advisor to support the people and change management streams of a multi-million dollar state government tender in land valuation. Bringing a breadth of experience in tender development, and people and strategy consulting, under very tight timeframes, we were able to provide critical advice on tender direction, as well as complete the relevant portions of the tender response to extremely high standards.
